Lessons in Packing

Over the years, I have honed my packing skills so that I don’t bring anything extraneous when I travel. Packing Up

We took our 18-year old daughter to college a few days ago. It was a huge undertaking – physically, emotionally, and of course, organizationally. As I’ve mentioned before, I deal with emotional upheaval by getting organized. Everything In Its Place

Simplify Your Packing

When I was in my twenties, every vacation was an opportunity to wear fabulous outfits.  Of course, wearing a fabulous outfit means bringing multiple pairs of shoes and a lot of accent pieces and accessories.  Luckily I grew out of that phase, and I now pack very simply, bringing things that are easy to pack and easy to wear.  I never pack more than I need.
