Help for Your Handbag

I’ve written before about making sense of handbags (see my earlier post on handbag inserts).   I thought I had found my bliss with the fashionable and compartmentalized Butler Bag.   However, I got tired of always carrying such a big bag, so I plunged back into the fray to find the perfect solution.

Last month I attended the annual conference of the National Association of of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and once again saw the Purse Perfector.  When I saw it at the last conference, I did not buy one because I was still in Butler Bag heaven.  This time, however, I got one, and I am happy to say that I am in love again!

What’s great about the Purse Perfector?

My Purse Perfector fully loaded

  • It’s easily moveable from one handbag to another, with a corner loop that makes it simple to pull out.
  • It has pockets of varying sizes.
  • It consists of two sections zipped together, so you can partially unzip it and use the sections side-by-side, or you can completely unzip it and use the sections separately.
  • There is space between the two sections for you to put a wallet or a planner.
  • The front section is one inch shorter than the back section, so there is no confusion about which is the front.

The Purse Perfector comes in lots of different colors, and in two sizes – Medium (shown here) or Large.   The Large is one inch wider than the Medium, and also one inch deeper to provide an extra inch in the space between the sections in order to accommodate a large wallet.  (My Franklin Planner fits just fine between the sections of the Medium).  You can find the exact dimensions of both sizes on the Purse Perfector website.

Check out the Purse Perfector.  You’ll be glad you did!
