Mary Poppins’s Closet

Yesterday I engaged my entire family in cleaning out our entryway closet. We are lucky enough to have walk-in closets —  designed by California Closets before we bought the apartment  —  so it is actually possible to see everything that’s in there.  Therefore, I knew we had a few items that we could get rid of. Frankly, I am amazed at how much stuff we are giving away!

Charities That Will Pick Up Your Stuff

When I work with clients who want to shed their unwanted possessions, they are delighted at the idea of donating their stuff to charity.  They are less enthusiastic, however, at the idea of having to shlep their stuff to make that happen. Pet Products for Small Spaces

I was recently invited to a pet product expo sponsored by Pet Socialite Events.  I was invited because I was an Organizer, but it was my new status as a Dog Owner that spurred me to go. While there, I ran into my organizing colleague Fern Silvernagel.  Fern is a Cat Owner and her perspective was invaluable as we toured the vendor displays in search of products that our clients could use.

A Cautionary Tale about Q-Tips

My mother called me the other day to tell me that she had 750 Q-tips and was hoping I would agree to take some of them off her hands.
