All young women have them: those fancy dresses that are worn once and then hang forever in the back of the closet, becoming more and more out of fashion.
Here’s a wonderful opportunity to give those dresses a second chance. You’ll make someone very happy, and you’ll appreciate getting some of your closet space back.
Operation Fairy Dust is having its annual event to match up donated dresses with high school students who can’t afford to buy prom dresses. You can read more about this wonderful volunteer project and its founder in yesterday’s New York Times.
The deadline to drop off your dress is April 11. These are the drop-off locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Cedarhurst.
